I have a person who continues to stalk me. I want to block that person from contacting me. How can you do that if I have AT&T. My phone doesn’t have any blocking features on it.
AT&T has recently got AT&T Smart Limits. With this service you can block phone numbers from calling you. The service is $4.99 per month. For more information on Smart Limits, go to the link below:

If you wish not to sign up for the service, assign the number a silent ringtone. When the person calls, you won’t hear your phone ring. You can just ignore the call.

I’ve seen plenty of old forums and such that say blocking a phone # on a cell phone can’t be done. This is quite ridiculous and if it is the case makes me want to write some code to check the incoming number and block it. How hard can that be? Perhaps with the OpenMoko coming out, more people will start building cell phone apps. Hopefully something has already changed from the old posts though. Thanks!
You have AT&T so you can get Smart Limits. This add on service lets you block people from calling you and texting you. Call customer care to get the service. It is $4.99 per month to have.

Some phones have an option called a rejection list. It would be under call settings if you have this option. You would simply add the number to the rejection list and the call wouldn’t go through. Actually the caller just goes straight to voice mail.
If you do not have the rejection list, then assign a silent ringtone to the person. That way the person calls, you won’t hear them calling. You can just ignore the call.
