I make really good quality songs and i dont want to be signed by some other record labels..i want to boost myself of into to music business, iwant to do my own signing and earn my own money when people buy my music. But i want to know how tough is it going to be and is it possible???plz i want good answers, thank u.

For starters, there would be no need to sign yourself if you are the sole proprietor of the label because you would simply be entering a contract with yourself.

Furthermore, starting a label isn’t going to give you more resources that you do not already have. If you do not know how to market and sell your music now… Then you won’t be able to do so as a label either.

You do not need a label in order to make money as an Artist. You simply have to market yourself well enough and make your music available to those whom wish to purchase it.

If you do not know how to sell your music through online retailers; like iTunes, Amazon… etc, I recommend you look into Catapult Digital Distribution. They will distribute your songs to most all major digital music retailers as well as make your songs available as ringtones for most cellular providers. You will also be paid for album sales, song sales, streams, and downloads… Not to mention at a rate that is much much higher than Artists whom earn royalties though their label.
