Music and More on your Mobile Phone

Being a cell phone owner comes with its own set of pressures these days. Some people like to keep the latest designed cell phone with all the bells and whistles, while others are content just having a phone that works. No matter what category you fall in, there’s a way to keep your ringtones up to date at the very least. Several online companies have surfaced recently that provide ringtone and wallpaper downloads for a monthly subscription fee. These types of subscriptions have grown extremely popular and can be very useful if you’re looking for a discounted way to download. Downloading ringtones from your service provider can prove expensive and difficult to navigate through.

Ringtones.net is one of the ever growing companies that can provide a variety of downloads at a convenient monthly price. Ringtones offers songs for downloading as well as text services. Ringtones follows the typical process for downloading ringtones. You enter your mobile phone number and receive a text message that includes a PIN number that you enter to allow you access into the site. Once you receive your PIN number and enter it, you must also agree to the site terms and conditions before any downloading can be allowed. After you’re registered, you are directed to a site for your download selections.

Ringtones offers several genres of music for downloading like Latin, Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, Gospel, Country, Classical and many more. All downloads can be selected from the site and the link is sent directly to your mobile phone number. Ringtones also offers wallpaper genres such as Alternative Art, Comics, Greetings, Hip Hop, Cartoon Network and more.

There are some fun text services you can subscribe to that will send you a daily text message. The daily text selections include Joke of the Day, Pop Gossip, Hip-hop Gossip, Mad Love Tips, Horoscopes, Diet Tips and many more. Each month you receive 10 credits for downloads, with the potential to earn more. The first month of service, users will receive 10 credits along with an additional 10 bonus credits for signing up with Ringtones.net.

Ringtones.net works with a variety of cell phone carriers. Many people are concerned that if they subscribe to a service like this, their phone won’t work with the downloads available. Ringtones.net works with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Alltel, Dobson, Cellular One, Boost, Nextel, and Virgin Mobile.

The pricing for Ringtones.net services is fairly common. Customers are billed on their monthly cell phone bill, and the cost is $9.99 per month for 10 credits. Boost customers are billed $6.99 per month. The subscription can be cancelled at any time via text message or through the site. All communication is made either through text messaging or on the web site, but customer service is available if needed.

Can you use your laptop bluetooth feature to communicate with your mobile phone? More details inside?
I have been wondering whether or not I can transfer music from my computer to my mobile phone via the bluetooth feature that both have. Does anyone know if this is possible? And if so, how to do this?

    Thank you!

Yes, this should be possible. I sync my calendar and contacts with my computer via bluetooth, but I haven’t tried transferring media files. Take note that this may be a bit slow though and it’ll be a lot quicker if you use a cable.

You need to go to your bluetooth places on the desktop and add your device through here. Once it’s added, try to look for the folder browser that will let you transfer files.
