Welcome to the renewal of this Austin original! Connie Jo Kirk is arguably Austin's most accomplished jazz and blues singer. Over the years she has performed in virtually all of Austin's leading jazz and blues venues including Antones and the Elephant Room, as well as at the Bass Concert Hall and on Black Entertainment Television (BET). We are privileged to feature three songs from Connie's forthcoming CD of original music on DeliverASong.com. Her words and voice literally touch your heart and soul!Listen to "Never Met Nobody" from her forthcoming CD: More for this artist
Jonathan, who is best known for his 1971 classic "Sunshine" but has put out 14 albums of really good mostly original music over the years, has recently moved to the Austin area from the Virgin Islands. It's definitely Austin's gain. Jonathan is an accomplished musician and songwriter/storyteller. A few weeks ago he showed up at the Manchaca Fire Department (perhaps best known for its all-you-can-eat fish fry on Friday evenings, and put on a show -- especially on the mouth harp. We are pleased to feature selected songs from his excellent "Live in Massachusetts" album.Listen to a hot new LIVE version of "Sunshine": More for this artist
