How to make a iPhone Ringtone from any video/audio files?

i use the Ventones website all the time for my new Iphone 3g,
and the problem is that you are doing it wrong.

you can’t send the ringtone to your phone because you can’t save it that way on the Iphones.

You need to create a special ringtone file and then download it to your computer and then transfer it to itunes and sync your iphone

this is what you need to do

1) upload your mp3 file and create your ringtone on Ventones

2) when done, press the blue button that says
[Click here for your Iphone Ringtone]

3) Wait a second and then you will see a link.
right click on that link and download that file to your computer
That will be your Iphone ringtone. It will end in .m4r format, not mp3. If it ends in mp3, you did it wrong.

4) Open up your Itunes program. Drag and drop the ringtone that you downloaded from ventones to your itunes program.

5) Connect your iphone to itunes and your ringtone will transfer to your iphone

I transferred my purchased iPhone ringtones to iTunes library the ringtones section. ?

How do you music on the Samsung Beat?

I have windows media player 8 i think. When i copy it on to the phone its says the file is not supported on this phone.

Hi,

First plug in the phone using the USB cable

Then a portable device window should pop up, giving you three options: open device to view files, sync digital, media files to this device, take no action

Click on the first one: Open devices to view files

Another window should then pop up with: Memory Card and Phone Memory. You can click on either one.

(Your media file may not be supported. It should be an MP3. Is it not?)

This site actually helped me create ringtones but it will also convert your song files to MP3 format if it isn’t already.

TRUST ME ON THESE WEBSITES, THEY REALLY WORK. IT’S NOT ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE THINGS THAT YOU DOWNLOAD AND YOU FIGURE OUT IT EVER WORKS. IT REALLY HELPS.

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Download Audacity 1.3.4 (Beta)

Run Audacity

Open a song that you want

Go to <File<Export

DON’T FORGET TO CHANGE THE ‘SAVE AS TYPE’ TO MP3 FILES

It will ask you for a LAME code

Download this one:
http://www.lifehacker.com/assets/resources/2006/11/lame_enc.dll

Save it somewhere that it’s easily accessible

Back to Audacity. Browse for the LAME code.

Then it should export the file to a MP3 which should work in places such as iTunes.

Go the folder with the new MP3 song. Copy then paste in the Memory Card or Phone folder.

SAMSUNG BEAT:
<Menu<Fun & Apps< Files
Depending on where you saved it, it should either be in Music or Memory Card.

PS: If you want it to show up in your Music player, you should turn off the phone then back on and the songs should automatically be in the Library playlist.

Good Luck! I hope this helped!!!

How do I stop my Android phone deleting music when inserting the memory card?

December 1st, 2012 1 comment

I have an HTC Legend and trying to get about 7gb of MP3s on there. Ive tried this in a few ways which include the usual copy/paste, htc sync, winamp and nothing seems to work. Sometimes it completly removes all music folders, others it seems to remove the mp3s and leaves the folders. can anyone help?

How do I get my custom iPhone ringtones to work?

October 26th, 2012 1 comment

I created my own ringtones using the iTunes loophole (converting a clip of the song to the .m4r file) and the ringtones show up in iTunes under ringtones, they sync to my phone, they even play the clip when I selected them to be my ringtone. However, when I receive a phone call my iPhone reverts back to the default ringtone. If someone would please help me fix this issue, I would be grateful!

try Ventones

can someone give me STEP BY STEP directions how u get ringtone for your iphone.
i know you go to itunes and thats it.
please help. and be discritive

Alright I’ve been searching the web how to add your own custom ringtones to the iphone. There is jailbreakme.com but u need version 1.1.1 on your iphone, and for those who already did the update to 1.1.2 ur sol. Well here is another way to add ringtones to your iphone with out a third party app. First u need to download audacity, http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ download version 1.2.6 next u need is current itune 7.5. You extract the file then open the program. After that is done you will go to file open find where ur .mp3’s are click on one of them and it will open it into the program after that u will select a 30 second section of song u want for your ringtone then you go to file click export selection as wave save onto ur desktop. then u will drag that wave file into your itunes libary. then u will right click on the ringtone u just made and convert to acc after that is done delete the wave file then u will right click on the acc file that you just made and select show in windows explorer or what ever the apple one is. then u will rename the last part from .m4a to .m4r example"roe.m4a" to "roe.m4r" then u will drag the file from the folder into the ringtones on your itunes. then all u do is sync the ringtones to your phone. ohh yeah btw delete the acc ringtone that u made bc it will no longer be there.
any question just PM me

How to Make an Iphone Ringtone

Ever wanted to know how to make an iPhone ringtone?

Well, there is a neat way and the method described below is primarily for Windows, as if you have a Mac, you can use GarageBand to create a custom ringtone.

So, this is how you do it. Open up your iTunes software and search for the track you have decided will do nicely as your new ringtone. Remember it has to be a DRM-free track; one without digital locks (known as Digital Rights Management technology). Okay, so you’ve selected the appropriate track, the right-click on it and further click on the option which says Get Info tab.

Next you get the chance to select the part of the song you want as a ringtone by pressing the Options tab and finding the Start Time and End time choices. Ensure your portion is less than 30-seconds in length, then tick both of the boxes and click Okay when finished.

Okay so far? Next step is to right click on the song you’ve just hacked about and select the Convert Selection to AAC option. As soon as that’s finished, and the song has fully converted to the new format, just quickly check that it is actually less then 30 seconds long.

Now move to your iTunes music folder and search for your song, which will designated by a Q icon. You have to be able to see .M4A file extension (make sure your haven’t got the Hide Extensions box ticked, otherwise you won’t be able to see it).

Then copy the file to your desktop. Rename it so that you can recognise it as your newly created ringtone. There must be no symbols (hyphens etc) in the file name, otherwise it won’t work.

Okay, done all that? Back you go to iTunes, select File, Add File to Library and then browse for the file as you did above. It should be there and if so, press Open and it will then be automatically placed in the right part of your library.

The final step is syncing your iPhone with iTunes. Once complete, your new ringtone should be on your iPhone. If it hasn’t worked, just ensure that your iPhone and iTunes sync set-ups are configured properly to accept the ringtone.

Pretty nifty hey? And you can go about loading hundreds of ringtones all at no expense. So go and get cracking.

May 17th, 2012 3 comments

Hi all. I have went to a website where you can get wallpaper and ringtones for your IPHONE. The wallpaper works fine, my questions is, when I pick a ringtone, it sends it to my phone in a text message, then it just plays in quicktime when I click the link. How do I get this to go to my ringtones folder or set it as my ringer?

you need to download them to your pc, then sync the folder with your ringtones with itunes.
i use http://www.myfreeiphone.co.uk they have loads of ringtones to download and more games you could need all free.
